Hartford Preservation Groundbreaking

We were excited to celebrate the Groundbreaking of the Hartford Preservation Portfolio, a complex acquisition and substantial renovation of 206 units in five separate Section 8 properties purchased from three separate sellers and financed together with a single tax-exempt bond and 4% LIHTC financing. This financing will enable us to complete much-needed repairs at all five properties, but chief among them is Barbour Gardens, which lost its Section 8 assistance in 2019 and was forcibly vacated by HUD and the City of Hartford. We are going to dramatically renovate the property and welcome new residents in 2022.
